O R D E R
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu to dispose of A.S.No.34 2018 within a stipulated time.
2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is
inclined to dispose of the revision even without notice to the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner he is plaintiff in the suit for partition and decree for partition was passed on 13.10.2014 and challenging the same, the 1st respondent herein filed an appeal in A.S.No.34 of 2018 and the said appeal has been kept pending without any progress.
4. A perusal of the docket entry filed in the typed set of papers would suggest appeal has been adjourned from November 2018 onwards without any progress. It is also seen the original records from the lower Court has not been received by the Appellate Court. In the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the appeal within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
