The present Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2017 and to restore the electricity service connection (023-004-156) to the house bearing no.6, 1st street, Nehru Nagar, Ennur, Chennai - 600 057 on payment of the entire due.

2. When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present Writ Petition and has also made an endorsement to that effect.
