This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 6/4/2017 and compensate the petitioner for the illegal demolition carried out on 5/4/2017. Page No:2/6
2. Brief facts which are necessary for the disposal of this writ petition are as follows:- The petitioner has purchased the property to an extent of 80 1⁄2 cents in S.No.122 in Kovilambakkam Village and also purchased 33 cents of agricultural land, in Old S.No.121/2B, as per Patta S.No.121/2B2 in Kovilambakkam Village in Saidapet Taluk. Over the passage of time, the petitioner had sold about 3150 sq.ft and donated 750 sq.ft to a local temple. On 5/4/2017, the official respondents demolished the building put up by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation, dated 6/4/2017 to the respondents with regard to the illegal demolition. Since there was no response, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.
3. Heard Mr.A.Thirumaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh for R.4 and Mr.J.Subbiah, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the fifth respondent.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 6/4/2017 will serve the ends of justice.
5. The petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation dated 6/4/2017 to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 6/4/2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months, thereafter.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 10/10/2022 Index : Yes / No Internet: Yes Speaking/non speaking order mvs.
