petitioner, dated 24.07.2021 in P.No.2021/9005/08/137300/0724 and Survey No.33/1 in 2/565-3, Gurunathan Kovil Karattur, Amani Kondalampatti, application made by the petitioner, dated 27.07.2021 in P.No.2021/9005/08/149371/0727 respectively.

According to the petitioners, they are residing at the above address for the past 15 years and the aforesaid lands are house site and classified as Natham Land. Therefore, the petitioners made several representations dated 24.07.2021 and 27.07.2021 to the respondents requesting to issue house site patta to them. Till date, no order has been passed by the respondents on the representations of the petitioners. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present writ petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 24.07.2021 and 27.07.2021 and dispose of the same within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought for in these writ petitions before this Court and taking into account the submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representations, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent/Tahsildar to consider the petitioners' representations dated 24.07.2021 and 27.07.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
