Criminal Original Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C./528 BNSS to direct the respondent Police for further investigation on the FIR expeditely in Crime No. 161 of 2021 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, B1, Dharmapuri Police Station, Dharmapuri District - respondent Police.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to further investigate the case in crime No.161/2021.

2. On a complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent had registered an FIR in crime No.161/2021 for "man missing" on the allegation that the petitioner's son is missing.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, submitted that investigation is in progress and a special team has been formed to trace out the petitioner's son. However, the petitioner's son is not yet traced.

4. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to proceed with the further investigation in crime No.161/2021 and complete the same within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2\4

With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
