2. The petitioners in W.P.Nos. 27306 and 27310 of 2022 have filed these writ petitions seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of their appeal dated 02.08.2022.

2.1.The petitioners in W.P.Nos.27307, 27308, 27309 and 27311 of 2022 have filed these writ petitions seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of their appeal dated 08.08.2022. 3/6

3. The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the official respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The case of the petitioners are that the 2nd Respondent had acquired their lands and passed an award on 31.08.2021 wherein the compensation amount awarded is very meagre. Being not satisfied with the award passed by the 2nd respondent the petitioners have filed appeal before the first Respondent. However, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions with the aforesaid prayer.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeals filed by them as early as possible.

6. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the orders will be passed in the appeals filed by the petitioners as early as possible.

Considering the limited request made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeals filed by the petitioners on 02.08.2022 and 08.08.2022 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as counter parties if any.
