O R D E R

The relief sought for by the petitioner is to consider his representation dated 16.08.2019 sent to the respondent and to appoint him as a sanitary helper.

2.The petitioner is a permanent resident of Mettur Dam, Periyar Nagar, Ward No.20, Navappatti Group Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District. He had passed Higher Secondary education in March 2012 and he belongs to backward community and registered his name in the District Employment Ofice, Salem on 20.06.2013 and the same is renewed from time to time. While so, the respondent issued notification dated 29.06.2019 calling for application for filling up the post of sanitary helper and the age limit is 18 to 60. The petitioner is eligible to apply for the said post and hence he submitted his application on 09.07.2019. Thereafter, he was called for an interview on 15.07.2019. information about the same. Therefore, he made a representation to the respondent on 16.08.2019. Since no orders have been passed till date, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.Though, the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without expressing any merits of the case, inclined to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. For ready reference, the petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation along with the copy of this order to enable the respondent to pass orders.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
