ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.8000 of 2025 dated 11.03.2025.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the District Registrar namely the 4 th respondent alongwith the communication of the District Registrar dated 07.08.2025 made to the District Treasury. 3.Pursuant to the same, the amount of Rs.1,29,100/- towards stamp duty and Rs.42,900/- towards registration charges and other charges to the tune of Rs.12,300/- has also been disbursed to the petitioner. What remains is only a

sum of Rs.21,000/-, which is towards the stamp papers that were purchased by the petitioner.

4.According to the respondent, this amount cannot be refunded since there is a bar under Section 51 to refund, where the claim is made beyond 2 months.

5.Recording the above, this Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner has any grievance, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the 4 th respondent beyond 4months to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 01-09-2025 dn Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
