ORDER

The petitioner/A.7 has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking to relax the condition imposed on him in Crl.M.P.No.504/2016 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu, dated 26.02.2016 in Crime No.31 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a bona fide purchaser on the basis of the Power of Attorney Deed executed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

owner of the property on 09.02.2011 and the petitioner has nothing to do with the commission of offence. It is further submitted that while the petitioner was enlarged on anticipatory bail, he was directed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu, to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. for 30 days. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a resident of Singapore and hence, he has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

4. Considering the gravity of the offences, I do not find any reason to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
