This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. The learned counsel for the appellant M/s.Ramya V.Rao, and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent Mr.P.Suresh Srinivasan, are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties and counsel represented. The appellant has preferred an present appeal. Aggrieved against the award of Rs.3,95,150/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Ninety Five Thousand One Hundred and Fifty only).

2. The Insurance Company has already deposited the original award amount. Now the parties agreed to pay the additional amount for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) in full quit over and above the award amount.

3. The Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced amount within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4. On such deposit the claimant is entitled to withdraw the original award amount as well as the enhanced award amount.

5. The Tribunal is directed to issue the award amount through NEFT/RTGS to the party concerned on proper identification in accordance with the terms of the award, without insisting on any formal permission petition.

6. The appeal is ordered accordingly.
