O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to withdraw I.D.O.P.No.1241 of 2023 pending on the file of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore and transfer the same to any of the Family Courts at Chennai. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent on 02.08.2018. He further submitted that the petitioner has been tortured at the hands of the first respondent and harassed her. Thereafter, the respondent filed a Divorce Petition in I.D.O.P.No.1241 of 2023 before the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore. It is very difficult for the petitioner to attend the Court hearings at Coimbatore, she was unable to travel approximately 500 kilometers. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

3.On perusal of records, it is seen that the petitioner is residing at Chennai and the respondent is also residing at Chennai and he is working in a IT Company at Ramapuram whereas I.D.O.P.No.1241 of 2023 is pending before the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is residing at parents home and she is unable to travel approximately 500 kilometers. Therefore, the reasons stated by the petitioner and the same are justifiable.

5.Learned counsel appearing for the respondent has not raised any objection.

6.Accordingly, the present Tr.C.M.P. is allowed and the I.D.O.P.No.1241 of 2023 pending on the file of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 7.The Family Court, Chennai is directed to issue notice to the respondent/husband and proceed with the case in I.D.O.P.No.1241 of 2023 in the manner known to law.
