O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent and through him the first respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.06.2015 and investigate the same and submit a report.

2. The petitioner is an Ex-Serviceman. He is a senior citizen. He is the owner of the landed property in S.No.363/1,2,3 Keelkattalai, Madipakkam. When the petitioner visited his land, he found that the third parties are attempting to grab the property by unlawful means and this was happening from the year 2005 onwards. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 24.6.2015. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, CSR No.68/2015 has been assigned and the petition enquiry is pending.

5. Since CSR number has been assigned, this Court directs the 1st respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 24.06.2015 given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
