ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue passport to the petitioner in File No.MA 209682271316 dated 07.10.2016 without insisting on the production of date of birth certificate. 2.When this writ petition has been taken up, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that if the petitioner produces a valid adoption deed or any other legal document authorising the adoption wherein the date of birth is mentioned, then the same will be taken note of by the authorities for the purpose of date of birth, for issuing passport to the petitioner.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent, the petitioner is directed to make a representation enclosing a valid adoption deed or any other legal document authorising the adoption wherein the date of birth is mentioned, to the respondent. If any such document is filed along with the representation, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in respect of issuing passport to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks after such submission of correct documents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
