O R D E R

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, it appears prima facie to this Court that the allegations are of a civil nature, relating to a claim

for specific performance. In that regard, when the petitioner is said to have already appeared before the respondent - Police, pursuant to the summons, the respondent cannot harass the petitioner by issuing repeated summons. In any event, let the petitioner appear before the respondent - Police for one more time on 01.08.2025 and the petitioner shall not be harassed thereafter.

2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the enquiry is only be with reference to the criminal angle in the entire episode and the respondent - Police will not interfere in the possession or title of the property.

3. The statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4. In view thereof, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The parties shall act upon the website uploaded copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy.
