The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to register a case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 12.02.2016. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's parents were in possession and enjoyment of the poramboke land and patta has also been given to them. Thereafter, the petitioner along with his family went to Karnataka for their livelihood and they returned back, they came to know that the property was in possession of the counter petitioners. Hence he gave a complaint to the respondent police on 12.02.2016. But the respondents have not taken any steps to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquire the matter and register the case. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. Resisting the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted. He further submitted that even though patta of the year 1970 stands in the name of the petitioner's father, they are not residing in that place and one Kuppusamy has been in possession and enjoyment of the property and hence, the complaint was closed.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for alternative remedy.
