(19 Cents) both totally measuring an extent of 1.19 Acres, situated in Block No.36, Koyambedu Division, Aminjikarai Taluk (Old S.No.149 Part Koyambedu Village, Egmore - Nungambakkam Taluk) Chennai District, and to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and its employees to be in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the above property by acting on the criminal complaint No.787/2016 on the file of 2nd respondent. O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and its employees to be in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the above property by acting on the Criminal Complaint No.787/2016 on the file of 2nd respondent.

2. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
