O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to register a case on the basis of the complaint dated 19.12.2015 given by the petitioner and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner is a practising Advocate. Due to pathway dispute, on 16.12.2015, one Kanthavelu and others trespassed into the petitioner's premises and damaged 30 feet compound wall and also the drinking water pipe in his house. When the petitioner's mother questioned the same, they threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, a complaint has been lodged with the respondent police. Since no action has been taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, CSR No.260/2015 has been assigned and the petition enquiry is pending.

4. Since CSR number has been assigned, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 19.12.2015 given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
