Crl.O.P.No.24694 of 2022 M.NIRMAL KUMAR, J.

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in Crime No. 249 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 1998 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side ) would submit that, initially case was registered under Sections 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 1998 and subsequently during the investigation, the offences has been altered to to Sections 294 and 323 of IPC and thereafter, the petitioner was arrested and released on station bail itself.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuos.
