ORDER
(1)Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the 1 st respondent and Mr.S.Senthilmurugan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. With the consent of the learned counsels on either side, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
(2)The above writ petition is filed by the petitioner for issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. (3)The petitioner states that he availed a loan of Rs.5,50,430/- from the 3 rd respondent Society while he was in service. On 07.09.2018, the 3 rd respondent sent a notice to the petitioner calling upon the petitioner to pay the arrears of loan amount of Rs.6,12,400/- with interest. The petitioner states that he informed the 2 nd respondent Society, to recover the dues payable by him to the 3 rd respondent Society from his terminal benefits. But, instead of recovering the dues, the 2 nd respondent terminated the petitioner's service on 14.09.2018.
The petitioner further states that despite several requests by him to the authorities to recover the dues, the respondents did not settle the issue. The petitioner states that on 28.02.2025, the 3 rd respondent issued a notice to the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.11,60,021/-. The petitioner further states that he had submitted a written representation on 25.03.2025, narrating the entire facts of the case. As no action was taken on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
(4)Heard the learned counsels on either side and also perused the materials placed on record, (5)Under the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited prayer in the writ petition, a direction is issued to the 3 rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
