Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and property to put up the compound wall situated at Survey No.291/2A, Sub Division New Survey No.291/2A16A as per Patta No.2608, admeasuring a total extent of Acre 1.10 cents situated at No.90, Ayathur Village, Tiruvallur Taluk and District and another property in Survey No.291/2A, Sub Division New Survey No.291/2A16A2 as per Patta No.2859 admeasuring a total extent of Acre 0.781⁄2 cents situated at No.90, Ayathur Village, Tiruvallur Taluk and District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2023. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the representation dated 13.07.2023.

2. Heard Mr.B.Sundarapandiyan, learned counsel for petitioner and 2/4

Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation/complaint to the second respondent in person along with all the relevant materials. The same shall be considered by the second respondent and a decision shall be taken within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of representation/complaint from the petitioner.
