This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2019 seeking to rectify the defect in my land patta No. 487, comprised in S.No.42/29 as 19 cents instead of 171/2 cents, situated at Mangalam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpet District.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner made a representation on 26.02.2019 with a request to rectify the defect in the petitioner land's Patta No.487 comprised in S.No.42/29 as 19 cents instead of 17 1⁄2 cents, situated at Mangalam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpet District, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders 2/4
on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order
