O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet in H.S.No.165 of 2018 maintained by the 2nd respondent within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has sent a representation to the respondent Police on 20.07.2021 seeking removal of his name from the History Sheet in H.S.No.165 of 2018. But the respondent Police has not taken any action for the past four moths.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint copy is not ready available in the

Office of the Superintendent of Police and if a copy of the same is given, the respondent Police will take further action in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of his representation dated 20.07.2021 to the Superintendent of Police, Tiruvannamalai forthwith. Thereafter, the Superintendent of Police, Tiruvannamalai, shall consider the same and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a period of four weeks.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
