ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking for a direction directing the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.617 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in F.I.R.No.617 of 2015 on 06.11.2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 341 and 506(ii) of IPC. However, the respondent police has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

4. Resisting the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation is going on and hence, he prays for three months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
5. Considering the submissions made on both sides and also considering the fact that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, after due enquiry, the case in F.I.R. No.617 of 2015 has been registered as early as on 06.11.2015 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 341 and 506(ii) of IPC, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.617 of 2015 and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
