ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.12 of 2020. 1/4

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.12 of 2020 during the year 2020 itself, however, they have not filed final report till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered the FIR in Crime No.12 of 2020. He further submitted that, investigation is under progress and hence seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the respondent is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
