O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 31.03.2023 seeking issue of patta in respect of his property situated in Survey No.61/7, 1.36, Kattuvannachur Village, Sangarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District.

2. The petitioner claims right over the subject property under a Will executed by his grandmother dated 15.02.1993. The petitioner submitted a representation on 31.03.2023 seeking issue of patta in his name. The same has not been considered by the 3rd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that if petitioner submits an online application seeking issuance of patta, the same will be considered by the 3rd respondent on its own merit and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to submit an online application seeking issue of patta in respect of the above mentioned land, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the online application if any submitted by the petitioner and pass final orders on its own merit and accordance with law, within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such online application.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
