O R D E R

The petitioner seeks recognition of his Typewriting Institute by the first respondent and has made an application to the same on 15.03.2023. Since it has not happened, the petitioner has approached this court for a direction to the respondents to act on his representation and to grant necessary recognition. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the recognition accorded to petitioner's Typewriting Institutes has not been renewed after 2010. Now the petitioner may have to apply for sanction in terms of G.O. Ms. No.229 Education, Science and Technology (T1) Department dated 21.03.1995.

3.The first respondent is informed that the Typewriting Institutes are very few and itself is a dying art. However, the fingering which is relevant for using the computer keyboard has lot of relevance. Therefore, as and when the petitioner

files his application for according recognition for his Typewriting Institute, the respondents are required to approach it, not only within the framework of the Government Order but also with the conscience that they are trying to preserve a dying art.

4.The petitioner is now required to make his application in terms of the Government Order referred above, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondents are required to consider the same and grant recognition in the manner indicated in law and also with the spirit of what has been here-in-above observed by this court, within a period of next twelve weeks.
