ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate III, Cuddalore to dispose of the case in STC No.172 of 2013 within a stipulated period.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are accused 2 and 3 and they are facing criminal trial which caused stigma in their life. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with this petition for earlier disposal of the STC No.172 of 2013.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial of STC No.172 of 2013 is posted on 23.03.2016 for examination of L.Ws.1 to 4.

5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate III, Cuddalore to dispose of the case in STC No.172 of 2013 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent/ Investigating Officer is directed to produce the witnesses on the date of hearing without fail. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
