ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the HMOP.No. 322 of 2019 pending on the file of the Family Court, Salem.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the respondent/husband married

2 CRP.No. 3390 of 2023 the petitioner/wife on 14.09.2017 and they lived together for only two days. After the marriage, there was some difference of opinion between them, the petitioner has filed HMOP.No. 322 of 2019 before the Family Court, Salem, seeking divorce from him. Subsequently, the respondent filed counter affidavit and thereafter, the matter was posted for enquiry. In the meanwhile, the respondent filed I.A.No. 4 of 2022 under Order 6 Rule 7 of CPC to alter the pleadings and the act of the respondent is to prolong the matter and the case was posted for enquiry without giving unnecessary adjourments by the Court below. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present revision seeking speedy disposal of the above HMOP.

3. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner/wife as well as considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclinded to directs the trial Court to dispose of the aforesaid HMOP.No. 322 of 2019 pending on the file of the Family Court, Salem, as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
