O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.218 of 2023 pending investigation before the 1st respondent police. 2.When the matter came up for hearing on 11.09.2023, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner had given a complaint against the 2nd respondent and the same was not acted upon and whereas, the complaint given by the 2nd respondent is acted upon and the FIR was registered against the petitioner and others. In view of the same, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to take instructions and report before this Court.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR has been registered in Crime No.614 of 2023 before the 1st respondent and a copy of the FIR was also furnished to this Court. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to investigate the Crime No.218 of 2023 and Crime No.614 of 2023 as case and counter and complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
