The petitioner has filed the present petition praying to direct the respondent to file final report in connection Crime No.409 of 2017 on the file of the respondent within the time that may be stipulated by this Court, before the concerned Court.

2. The FIR is of the year 2017 and it was registered for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC relating to exchange of jewellery. Till date, the prosecution has not filed the final report.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that on 29.07.2025, the Police has filed the final report before the Xth Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in LTN20220002110C202500054.

4. In view of the above said filing of the final report, this petition is closed.
