ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 6th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025. 2/6
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on compassionate ground, the petitioner was appointed as a Sanitary worker in the year 1985. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she did not attend the work from 02.07.1989 to 2002. In the meantime, as per orders of this Court, when she submitted a representation, the 2nd respondent, by an order on 04.12.2002, directed consideration of the petitioner's appointment in a vacant post. Thereafter, the petitioner rejoined the office of the 5th respondent, pursuant to the said order dated 04.12.2002.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further would submit that under the above order, there was a direction to the 3rd respondent to regulate the absent period of the petitioner. However, the 3rd respondent failed to do so. Hence she submitted a representation on 21.05.2005 and such representation is pending before the 6th respondent.
4. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would fairly submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation and pass final order within 3/6
reasonable time.
5. In view of the above submissions, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 6th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2005 and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, based on its own merits and in accordance with law.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
