This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate relating to the securities of R.Balakrishnan, who died intestate on 16.10.2021. The securities held by him had been described in the schedule to the petition.

2. The first petitioner is his wife and the second and third petitioners are his daughter and son. After following due procedure, the petitioners were invited to adduce evidence. The first petitioner examined herself as PW-1. The death certificate of her husband Balakrishnan was marked as Ex.P-1 and the legal heirship certificate was marked as Ex.P-2. The statement relating to the securities were marked as Ex.P-3. The first petitioner was also given power of attorney by the third and fourth petitioners and they were marked as Exs. P-4 and P-5.

3. In view of the evidence produced, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioners with power to collect the securities and to receive interest and dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule is issued.
