Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose the representation dated 06.08.2024 within the stipulated period, prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to dispose of her representation dated 06.08.2024, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, she is an agriculturist and her livelihood will be affected by the proposal to build By-pass from Polur to Jawadhu hills. Aggrieved by the proposed alignment of Bye-pass road, the petitioner submitted a representation on 06.08.2024 seeking realignment of the proposed road and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 on written instructions would submit that the 2/5

proposed assignment is the best option suggested by the Competent Authority in consultation with the technical expert.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner and also the respondents, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
