Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 19.08.2021 against in the order of the learned District Collector, Chennai in RC.No.J5/16297/2010 dated 24.03.2020 after scrutinizing the original source (parent) records in the Director of Survey and Land Record Department, as well as the RSR of the year 1911 and the TSLR 1997-98 from the relevant office with respect to the subject property, in a time bound manner to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 19.08.2021 against the order of the District Collector, Chennai in RC.No.J5/16297/2010 dated 24.03.2020 after scrutinizing the original source (parent) records in the Director of Survey and Land Record Department, as well as the RSR of the year 1911 and the TSLR 1997-98 from the relevant office with respect to the subject property, in a time bound manner to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.A. Mohammed Ismail, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 6.

3. The petitioner filed an appeal as against the order dated 24.03.2020 passed by the second respondent in RC No.J5/16297 of 2010 and it is pending on the file of the first respondent.

4. Considering the above, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 7 to 13, after giving them an opportunity of hearing and

dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
