This writ petition has been filed against the order dated 02.08.2006 passed by the second respondent and to quash the same. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that he was employed as Head Master with the third respondent school and on his superannuation, his services were extended till 31.05.2007. While so, on 02.08.2006, when the first and second respondent authorities came for inspection at the third respondent school in the evening hours, no students were available in the campus. It is alleged that since after knowing the fact that the authorities are about to visit to school, the petitioner allowed the students to walk away from the school, hence, the petitioner's extension period of service was cancelled by the authorities. Challenging the said cancellation of extension of service, the present writ petition had been filed.
3. This writ petition had been filed in the year 2006 and the petitioner was aged about 58 years at the time of filing the writ petition. While admitting the writ petition on 10.08.2006, this Court had granted interim stay of the proceeding and the same had been made absolute subsequently. Therefore, after such a lapse of time, i.e., nearly 11 years, I do not find anything survives for further adjudication in this matter.
4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
