ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the 1 st respondent dated 15.03.2022 and for a consequential direction to the 1 respondent to declare that the legal heirship certificate is a forged and fabricated document based on the representation made by the petitioner on 21.09.2021.
2. Heard Mr.D.Selvakumari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.T.M.Rajangam, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.T.Thiagarajan for the respondents 5, 7 to 11.

On careful reading of the order passed by the 1 st respondent, it is seen that the 1 st respondent, after going through the entire facts and the allegations made by the petitioner, has chosen to reject the application mainly on the ground that it has been submitted beyond the period of three years.
4. Considering the grounds raised by the petitioner, and more particularly since there is allegation of forgery and fabrication of documents, it will be more appropriate for the 1 st respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on merits.
5. In view of the above discussion, the impugned proceeding of the 1
respondent in Na.Ka. No.17666 / 2020 / Y1, dated 15.03.2022 is quashed and the matter is remanded back to the file of the 1 st respondent, and the 1 respondent shall deal with the case on merits after affording an opportunity to all the interested parties, a final decision shall be taken within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
