Criminal Original Petition under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.154 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the second respondent and direct the second respondent to recover the stolen articles within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.154 of 2022 and 1/4

to recover the stolen articles within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent registered a case in the above said crime number on 23.5.2022, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two weeks.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is 2/4
