O R D E R

The Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2025 and furnish copies of the relevant documents concerning Crime No.92 of 2024.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The main grievance of the petitioner is that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner/de facto complainant, a case in Crime No.92 of 2024 was registered for the offence under Sections 468, 471, 420 and 34 of IPC. In the anticipatory bail petition filed before this Court the accused agreed to surrender the disputed lands, however, they have not handed over the same. Consequently, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent seeking copies of the relevant documents pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.92 of 2024. However, no action has been taken, hence, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is still pending. 2/4

5. In view of the above, since the investigation is at an initial stage, such a blanket direction as sought for by the petitioner cannot be issued at this stage.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands dismissed. No costs. The Investigating Officer is directed to complete the investigation expeditiously and in a fair manner.
