ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.2270 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 22.10.2021 the petitioner received secret information immediately the respondent police went to the scene of occurrence area and that time the petitioner and 2 others accused was found in their position of 1 KG 500 Gram Ganja without any valid license for the purpose of sell high prices and the petitioner and another was escaped from the spot after seen the respondent police and this is the allegation made by the respondent police. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner was arrested on 16.12.2021. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the petitioner was arrested on 16.12.2021, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 20/12/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
