Crl.O.P.No.20730 of 2023 in Crl.A.SR No.21518 of 2023 Crl.O.P.No.20730 of 2023 in Crl.A.SR.No.21518 of 2023 R.HEMALATHA, J.
This petition is filed under Section 378 (4) Cr.P.C, to grant leave to prefer an appeal against the judgment dated 15.12.2022 made in C.A.No.15 of 2022 on the file of the XXII Additional City Civil Court at Allikulam, Chennai.
2. Mr.Suchit Anant Palande, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that though the accused did not deny his signature on the cheque, the appellate Court acquitted the accused on the ground that the cheques were issued in favour of the brother of the complainant, without properly appreciating the evidence.
3. In the said circumstances, there are arguable points in the main appeal and therefore, leave is granted as prayed for. R.HEMALATHA, J.
