ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed under section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on petitioner's complaint dated 22.02.2016, investigate the same and file a final report within a stipulated time.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that in respect of the very same occurrence, the petitioner's son had lodged a complaint and a case was also registered by the respondent Police in Crime No.67 of 2010 under Sections 294 (b), 323 of IPC against two accused. After completion of investigation, a charge sheet was also filed by the respondent Police before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Dindivanam and the same was taken on file in STC No.197 of 2010. Thereafter, the two accused, specified in the charge sheet had admitted their offence and paid fine of Rs.1000/- each. Subsequently, the case was disposed of. 3. This Court has considered the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, and ultimately, this petition is dismissed.
