2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner dated 29.01.2014 was enquired and closed. Since the complaint given by the petitioner was closed without registering the FIR, the question of filing the closure report before the Magistrate does not arise in this case. Thus, he opposed the prayer of the petitioner.
4. Since the complaint of the petitioner was not registered by the respondent police, as contended by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, now the question of filing final report before the Magistrate does not arise. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. sd/- Assistant Registrar(Cs-V) /TRUE COPY/ Sub-Assistant Registrar vsm To 1.The Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, No.132, Commissioner Office Building, E.V.K.Sampath Road, Vepery, Chennai - 600 007.
