This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 28.12.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that a case in Crime No.146 of 2016 has already been registered by the respondent Police under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(ii) IPC and the same is under investigation.
