Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to refund the sum of Rs.100,676/-, Rs.27,03,312/- & Rs.58,44,657/- respectively with interest based on the representation vide letter dated 04.03.2019 received by the Sales Tax Officer on 04.03.2019 and another letter received by the commercial tax officer dated 05.07.2009 for assessment years 2011-2012, 20122013 & 2013-2014. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Raveekumar For Respondent : Mr.Mastu Ganesh, Government Advocate (Taxes) C O M M O N O R D E R In all these three writ petitions, the petitioner seeks for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to refund the sum referred to in each writ petition with interest based on the representation dated 04.03.2019.

2. When the matter was listed for admission, the learned Government Advocate took notice and sought time to get instructions. Accordingly, the matter is listed today for further hearing. The learned Government Advocate submitted that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the application filed by the petitioner for refund will be considered and appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.

Recording the above said submission, these Writ Petitions are disposed of, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner only by directing the respondent to pass orders on the request made by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to approach the respondent and produce any supportive documents, in the meantime. No costs.
