O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent police to grant police protection to the residential premises belonging to the petitioner, situate at No.202/2, S.S.Puram, 7th Street, B-Block, Purasaiwalkam, Chennai - 600 005. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the he sent a representation to the respondent-police on 24.07.2021, seeking police protection. Thereafter, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by post. To verify the veracity of the complaint, the presence of the petitioner is required. In view of the same, the petitioner has to appear before the respondent police along with the copy of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the complaint dated 14.10.2021. Thereafter, appropriate action would be taken by the respondent police.

4. Further submits that according to the petitioner, the dispute is within the family members, with regard to 180 sq.ft in the backyard and not permitting the petitioner to cover the compound wall.

5. Considering the submissions and on perusal of materials, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent-police along with the copy of the complaint on 28.12.2021. Thereafter, the respondent-police on enquiry would provide appropriate protection.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
