Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the petitioners' representation dated 14.07.2019 regarding issuance of patta in respect of the land in their possession and occupation comprised in survey No.181/1 - Hec.295.64.0 and survey No.182 - Hec.85.70.0 (Totally Hec.381.34.0) situated at Errakuttalahalli Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District and pass orders as recommended by the Forest Settlement Officer, Krishnagiri, the fourth respondent herein, in his proceedings in

Na.Ka.No.87/07 dated 16.07.2007 and 17.07.2007 to grant patta to the petitioners herein and grant the same within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the petitioners' representation dated 14.07.2019 regarding issuance of patta in respect of the land comprised in survey No.181/1 admeasuring 295.64.0 hectares and survey No.182 admeasuring 85.70.0 hectares situated at Errakuttalahalli Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District and pass orders as recommended by the fourth respondent herein in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.87/07 dated 16.07.2007 and 17.07.2007 to grant patta to the petitioners within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.R.Thamaraiselvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.K.Tippusulthan, learned Government Advocate (Forest) appearing for the fourth respondent.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners' dated 14.07.2019, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and the counter parties, if any, by giving them an opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
