This petition has been filed to amend the initials of the petitioner's children.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner belongs to "Kurumans Community", but in the order dated 01.12.2021 in WP.No.25383 of 2021, it was wrongly mentioned as "Kuruman Community" and the initials of the petitioner's children, were also wrongly mentioned. Hence, he requested to carryout the above corrections and also seeks for a direction to the respondent/the Sub Collector for earlier disposal of his application dated 08.02.2021.

3. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the Registry to make the following amendments in the order dated 01.12.2021: i) replace the initial of the petitioner's children as "G" wherever it occurs, i.e., G.Vijayashanthi and G.Vijayakumar.

ii) replace "Kuruman Community" as "Kurumans Community", wherever it occurs.

iii) in the last line of paragraph 6, replace the words "within a period of six months" as "within a period of six weeks".

4. In all other aspects, the order dated 01.12.2021 shall remain in-tact. Registry is directed to carryout the above corrections and issue fresh order copy forthwith. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. [M.K.K.S, J] [V.S.G., J] pvs 17.12.2021 2/3
