to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct an official survey to identify the original extent and boundaries of the public pathway situated in S.F.No.124, situated in Town Ward No.7, Block No.8, (Old S.F.No.374), Nachimuthupudhur Village and consequently direct the respondents to take appropriate steps to remove any illegal constructions as well as to cancel the patta(s) issued without conducting proper survey for restoring the public access to the pathway. (The order of the Court was made by J.Nisha Banu,J.) Mr.M.Venkateswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ Petition itself it taken up for final disposal.

2. This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct an official survey to identify the original extent and boundaries of the public pathway situated in S.F.No.124, situated in Town Ward No.7, Block No.8, (Old S.F.No.374), Nachimuthupudhur Village and consequently, direct the respondents to take appropriate steps to remove any illegal constructions as well as to

cancel the patta(s) issued without conducting proper survey for restoring the public access to the pathway.

3. On perusal of the records, it is seen that the allegations of illegal construction are vague and bereft of any details and there is also no specific details regarding the individuals who are alleged to have illegally or unauthorisedly constructed building in the public pathway. Therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. The Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
