This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 26.04.2024, whereby the petitioner has been kept under suspension pending criminal case in Crime No.91 of 2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that she joined as Village Assistant in the office of the 2nd respondent on 01.11.2013. There was some dispute between the petitioner and one Karupussamy, who worked as Village Administration Officer along with the petitioner in the same office. He committed suicide on 23.04.2024. As a result of which, an FIR came to be registered in Crime No.91 of 2024 under Section 174 of CrPC and subsequently, it was altered to Section 306 of IPC. The petitioner was arrayed as an accused in this case.

4.In the light of the above development, suspension order came to be issued by the 2nd respondent dated 26.04.2024 and the same has been made a subject matter of challenge in the present writ petition. 2/4

5.In the considered view of this Court, there is no need for this Court to interfere with the order of suspension passed on 26.04.2024. The petitioner has already made a representation to the 2nd respondent dated 22.06.2024, requesting the 2nd respondent to review the order of suspension, revoke the same and to reinstate the petitioner. The same is yet to be considered by the 2nd respondent. Hence, it will suffice if a direction is given to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation dated 22.06.2024.

6.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation dated 22.06.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
