Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 25.10.2021 to waive the bill of water charges issued to the petitioner bearing Customer No.10/142/06901/000 for the period from 30.03.2020 to 30.09.2021 in respect of the property comprised in T.S.No.11 Block No.33, Mambalam - Guindy Taluk, situated at Door No.12, Alandur Road, Saidapet, Chennai-600 015 based on the respondents to give watter supply to the said premises.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that water connection has not been disconnected till now.

3. The above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents stands recorded and considering the limited nature of prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, by directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 25.10.2021 of the petitioner, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order subject to the petitioner remitting a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The respondents shall however restore the water connection if the water connection has been disconnected. All further proceedings shall be kept in abeyance and shall be subject to the final disposal of the representation dated 25.10.2021 of the petitioner.

5. This Writ Petition stands disposed with the above directions. No cost. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
